Hello everyone—stage crew members and procurement partners! Good day!
In stage lighting design, many professionals fall into a common misconception: focusing solely on luminaire power and appearance while neglecting the most critical factor—the 'illum照度 standard.' Little do they realize that whether the illumination meets the required standards and suits the specific scene directly impacts the stage presentation—excessive brightness causes glare, while insufficient brightness leads to blurring, potentially compromising both the performance experience and filming quality.
No matter what type of venue you're using today, CPCC Guanglian explains the illumination standards and key parameters for various scenarios in simple terms—making it easy for beginners to understand and apply immediately!
Stage: Main stage: 300–500 lx (for filming: 500–750 lx); audience seating: 100–200 lx; Low-glare LEDs with color temperatures of 3200 K–4000 K.
KTV: The singing area should have a luminance of 500–800 lx (with uniformity ≥0.6), the entire area 300–500 lx, and the rest area 100–150 lx; glare should be avoided, and the lighting should be compatible with dynamic lighting systems.
Theater performance: The main performance area should have a luminance of 750–1000 lx (preferably 1000–1500 lx), with a background luminance of 200–300 lx; CRI ≥ 90.
Outdoor performance: Main stage: 500–750 lx (intense lighting: 750–1000 lx); audience seating: 100–150 lx; IP65+ waterproof rating.
Key parameters to avoid: Uniformity ≥0.6, CRI ≥90, UGR ≤19.
